S3 category safety boots with a composite toe cap and a plastic penetration-resistant midsole. Certified to EN ISO 20345:2011 and designed for working environments that require protection against impact, penetration and slipping.
Technical features of the S3 safety boots
Composite safety toe cap
Made from plastic instead of traditional steel. It withstands 200 J of impact energy and a 15 kN compression load. Lighter than its steel counterpart, it does not conduct cold and gives the toes greater freedom of movement.
PE penetration-resistant midsole
A flexible plastic layer that protects against sharp objects, with a resistance of 1100 N. Unlike steel midsoles, it does not stiffen, allowing the foot to flex naturally while walking.
Two-layer PU/rubber outsole
A combination of polyurethane (cushioning) and rubber (grip). Grooves in the tread channel away water and mud. Resistant to oils, petrol and chemicals. The SRC slip resistance rating confirms its performance on ceramic tiles with detergent and on steel with glycerol.
Antistatic properties
An outsole that dissipates electrostatic charge. It prevents sparks in explosive atmospheres while not insulating completely from the ground (safe for low-voltage electrical work).

Size selection and usage
Size 41 corresponds to a foot length of 26.2 cm. The 26.8 cm insole provides the functional clearance needed when working on the move. Before buying, measure your foot while standing, allowing for the thickness of work socks. The leather upper needs a breaking-in period – the first 2-3 days of wear may feel stiff.
The foam and PU insole adapts to the shape of the foot, supporting the arch. The material limits water absorption but is not completely waterproof – when working in deep water or mud, moisture can get in through the lacing and the tongue.
Safety footwear care
The leather upper needs regular care with wax- or grease-based products. After contact with chemicals, wipe the surface immediately with a damp cloth. Clean the outsole with a brush, removing stones and debris from the tread grooves – this keeps the slip-resistant properties intact.
Dry wet footwear at room temperature, away from radiators. Remove the insole and dry it separately. Do not use hot-air dryers – high temperatures damage the adhesives and distort the plastic of the toe cap and the penetration-resistant midsole.
