GEKO G70332 Protective Tarpaulin – 5×6 m, Green, 80 g/m²
A general-purpose tarpaulin made from polypropylene laminated with polyethylene, designed to protect materials and surfaces from the weather. The layered construction provides resistance to water and UV radiation.
Technical characteristics
PP/PE layered construction
A woven polypropylene core coated with polyethylene on both sides. This structure combines the mechanical strength of the fabric with the waterproofing of the laminate, which prevents leaking and delamination of the material.
80 g/m² weight
This parameter defines the density of the material. A value of 80 g/m² indicates a medium thickness, sufficient for seasonal protection of building materials, timber or garden equipment under moderate load.
Reinforced rope hems
The edges of the tarpaulin are reinforced with a polyethylene rope threaded through the hem, which increases resistance to tearing at the fixing points and extends the service life of the product when tensioned frequently.
Aluminium eyelets every 1 m
Metal eyelets at regular intervals allow secure fixing with ropes, hooks or bungee cords. Aluminium does not rust, which ensures the durability of the fixing points.

Use and maintenance
Fixing
The tarpaulin is secured by threading a rope or elastic hooks through the aluminium eyelets. On larger areas, tensioning from the centre outwards towards the edges is recommended to prevent water pockets from forming.
Cleaning
The smooth polyethylene surface allows dirt to be removed with water and mild detergents. Do not use organic solvents, which may damage the laminate.
Storage
Before folding, dry the tarpaulin to prevent mould from developing in the creases. Store in a dry place, away from heat sources and sharp objects.
Durability
A material with a weight of 80 g/m² is intended for seasonal or short-term use. Prolonged exposure to intense UV radiation may lead to gradual degradation of the laminate.
