Protective tarpaulin 8x10m brown 200g/m² GEKO G70752
A polyethylene tarpaulin with a reinforced construction made from laminated polypropylene. The three-layer structure provides resistance to mechanical damage and weather conditions while maintaining the flexibility of the material.
Technical characteristics
Three-layer construction
A woven polypropylene core coated with polyethylene on both sides. This build combines the mechanical strength of the PP fibres with the water resistance and flexibility of PE, which prevents tearing under heavy tension.
200 g/m² weight
The parameter defining the mass of the material per square metre. A value of 200 g/m² places the tarpaulin in the reinforced category, able to withstand prolonged loads and tougher conditions than standard 90–120 g/m² products.
Reinforced rope hems
The edges of the tarpaulin are stiffened with a polyethylene rope woven into the hem. Spreading the stress along the full length of the edge minimises the risk of eyelets being torn out in strong wind or under snow load.
Aluminium eyelets every 1 metre
Metal eyelets spaced at regular intervals along the edge allow even tensioning and fixing. Aluminium does not rust on contact with moisture, so it remains functional throughout the tarpaulin's service life.

Water and mould resistance
The polyethylene layer forms a watertight barrier that protects the contents from moisture. Anti-fungal additives in the structure of the material prevent mould and fungal growth even under prolonged exposure to moisture. The smooth PE surface makes it easy to remove dirt with water and detergent.
Use and maintenance
Before laying the tarpaulin, check that the surface underneath is free from sharp objects that could puncture the material. When securing it, spread the tension evenly across all the eyelets, avoiding point loading. Regularly remove any accumulated water and snow to prevent the material from stretching under the weight.
After use, clean the tarpaulin of mud and other contamination, dry it and fold it away in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid contact with sharp edges and heat sources above 60°C. With correct use, the tarpaulin retains its properties for several seasons.
