Threaded Stud Extractor for Removing Broken Bolts 1/2" G30038
A workshop tool designed for removing damaged bolts, stripped threads and seized fasteners. Made from 40Cr tool steel, it offers durability during dismantling work in the M25-M35 thread range.
Technical Characteristics
40Cr Tool Steel
Chrome steel with a carbon content of 0.40% and added chromium provides resistance to wear and corrosion. This material retains its mechanical properties under intensive use, which matters when removing seized components.
M25-M35 Range
The tool works with metric threads from 25 to 35 mm in diameter. This range covers the standard fastening bolts used in steel structures, industrial machinery and hydraulic installations.
1/2" Drive
The 1/2-inch square drive allows the use of standard socket wrenches, ratchets or impact wrenches. The mechanical gearing increases the torque applied when unscrewing seized components.
HRC Hardness
The Rockwell scale (HRC) defines the surface hardness of the tool. Suitable hardness prevents deformation when working with seized threads, while retaining the core flexibility that prevents cracking.

Use and Maintenance
Preparation
Before use, check that the thread falls within the M25-M35 range. Apply a penetrating fluid to the seized joint and leave it to work for 15-20 minutes. Fit the tool into a 1/2" socket wrench or ratchet.
Extraction Technique
Insert the extractor into the damaged thread and tighten it slightly so that the threaded grip bites onto the component. Rotation should be slow and controlled. If resistance is high, alternate the movement in both directions to loosen the joint.
Tool Maintenance
After each use, clean metal residue from the threaded section and protect the tool against corrosion. Storing it in a dry place extends its service life. Check the condition of the internal thread regularly – a worn tool loses its effectiveness.
