GEKO G00431 Tile Levelling Wedges – 100 pcs
A tile levelling system component designed for repeated use. The wedges work with dedicated clips, allowing ceramic tiles to be aligned precisely during laying.
Technical features
How it works
The wedge is inserted into the clip opening and pressed down with the pliers, creating even tension between the tiles. This eliminates differences in level at the tile joints, which is particularly important with large formats.
Reusability
Unlike the clips, which are destroyed when removed, the wedges are reusable. Once the clip has been taken out, the wedge remains undamaged and can be used again on further projects.
System compatibility
The wedges require the dedicated GEKO clips. The system performs best with a joint width of 1.5–3 mm. Mixing components from different systems may result in incorrect operation.
Efficiency on site
The levelling system removes the need to check the level of every tile repeatedly with a spirit level. Mechanical alignment speeds up the laying process and reduces the risk of errors, particularly over large areas.
How to use the system
Tile levelling with GEKO wedges requires a specific installation procedure to be followed:
Step 1: Fitting the clips
After applying the tile adhesive, place the clips under the edges of the tile. Use a minimum of 2 clips per edge – this provides stable support and even distribution of stress.
Step 2: Fitting the wedge
Once the adjacent tile is in place, insert the wedge into the clip opening. Press it down with the tile levelling pliers until the tiles are aligned at the same level. Excessive pressure may damage the tile edge.
Step 3: Removal once the adhesive has set
Once the adhesive has fully set (usually 24–48 hours), remove the clip by tapping its base lightly. Take the wedge out by hand and store it for reuse.

The actual number of wedges required depends on the tile size. The values below are approximate and assume clips are spaced roughly 30–40 cm apart along each edge:
