Auxiliary items for laying ceramic tiles that ensure even joints between them. Made from plastic, suitable for indoor and outdoor work.
A width of 1.5 mm is the standard gap used when laying small-format wall and floor tiles. It gives an attractive finish and sufficient space for the grout.
The spacers hold an even gap between tiles in two directions at once, which makes it easier to keep a consistent joint width and a straight layout.
They are suitable for ceramic wall tiles, ceramic floor tiles and porcelain tiles, both indoors and outdoors. The plastic resists moisture and temperature changes.
Enough to cover approximately 5-8 m², depending on the tile format. With 30×30 cm tiles, consumption is around 4 spacers per tile.

Basic formula: (area in m² / area of a single tile in m²) × 4 spacers. Example: for 10 m² of 30×30 cm tiles you need around 450 spacers. Buying 10-15% extra is recommended.
The spacers are placed in the corners of the tiles immediately after laying them, while the adhesive is still workable. Once the adhesive has set, remove them before grouting – pliers or a chisel are the easiest tools. The spacers can be reused many times provided they are not damaged when removed.
When grouting, make sure all spacers have been removed from the joints. Any left in place may be visible through the grout or prevent the joint from being filled evenly.
A 1.5 mm joint works well with rectified tiles and small formats (up to 30×30 cm). Larger tiles are better suited to wider joints (2-3 mm), which compensate for any dimensional differences and make grouting easier.
