S3-certified protective boots designed for work in low temperatures. This model features a steel toe cap, a penetration-resistant midsole and a fur lining that provides thermal insulation.
Technical features of S3 safety footwear
Class S3 mechanical protection
The S3 rating under EN 20345 means the footwear meets the requirements of the most demanding working environments. It covers toe protection against impacts of up to 200 J, a penetration-resistant midsole withstanding 1100 N, and a treaded sole providing grip on slippery surfaces. The S3 category is required on construction sites, in warehouses and in heavy industry.
Steel toe cap and protective midsole
The steel toe cap withstands impacts of 200 J (equivalent to a 20 kg mass falling from a height of 1 metre) and compression of up to 15 kN. The steel penetration-resistant midsole protects the foot against penetration by sharp objects with a force of up to 1100 N, which corresponds to the pressure exerted when a nail or rod is driven in.
Thermal insulation with fur lining
The lining and insole, padded with synthetic fur, form an insulating layer that keeps feet warm at sub-zero temperatures. The material retains its thermal insulation properties even during prolonged use, which is important for outdoor work in the autumn and winter months.
PU/PU sole with special properties
