Short impact socket with a 3/4" square drive, manufactured from CR-MO chrome molybdenum steel. Designed for use with pneumatic, electric and cordless impact wrenches in workshop and industrial environments.
A material with enhanced resistance to impact and dynamic loads. The structure of CR-MO steel absorbs the vibration generated when working with an impact wrench, preventing cracking and deformation. Its greater elasticity than CR-V steel means the socket retains its structural integrity even under repeated high-energy impacts.
A 19.05 mm (3/4 inch) square drive – the standard used in medium and high torque tools. Compatible with impact wrenches, ratchets and extensions with the same drive. The cross hole allows a retaining pin to be fitted to prevent the socket from slipping off the drive accidentally.
Internal hexagon with a 24 mm socket size. The 6-point profile spreads the force over a larger contact area with the bolt or nut, minimising the risk of rounding off the corners of the fastener. It performs well on over-tightened or corroded fasteners.
The socket's short length provides better access in confined working spaces. The shorter body increases the rigidity of the joint and reduces the bending moment when working under heavy loads. This design is preferred for tasks requiring precise positioning of the tool.

CR-MO steel (chrome molybdenum): a structure with enhanced elasticity and impact resistance. Absorbs impact energy without cracking. Used in professional-grade impact tools.
CR-V steel (chrome vanadium): harder but less elastic. Intended for use with hand tools. Under impact loads it may crack or deform.
Before first use, check that the socket is compatible with the impact wrench drive – the connection should be secure, with no play. The retaining hole allows a spring pin to be fitted, which prevents the socket from slipping off accidentally during use.
After use, clean the socket of dirt and protect it against corrosion. Where the tool is used intensively, periodic checks of the internal profile are recommended – wear on the hexagon corners can lead to slipping and damage to fasteners.
Impact sockets should not be used with torque wrenches – these are designed solely for applying controlled torque, not for impact work. To measure tightening torque, use standard (non-impact) sockets with a suitable torque wrench.
