A two-leg puller for removing bearings, bushes, wiper arms and clamps. The two-leg design distributes the pulling force evenly, which minimises the risk of damage to the components being removed and to the thread. Model YT-25145 handles components with a diameter from 5 mm to 30 mm.
This parameter specifies the diameter of the components being removed. The 5-30 mm range covers most small workshop components: ball bearings, spacer bushes, retaining rings, steering wheel clamps and wiper arms. Before use, measure the outside diameter of the component and make sure it falls within the puller's working range.
The two legs distribute the pulling force evenly around the axis of the component, which prevents skewing and thread damage. This is particularly important when removing press-fit components or those with light contact corrosion. The legs must rest firmly on the edges of the component being removed.
The locking mechanism stabilises the position of the legs during use, eliminating the risk of them slipping under load. Tighten the screw once the legs are in the working position, then gradually increase the pressure on the forcing screw by turning it with a spanner or ratchet.
The two-leg puller is used in car and mechanical workshops and in manufacturing plants. It allows components to be removed without damaging shafts, mounting holes or threads. Personal protective equipment must be worn when using this tool because of the risk of the component suddenly slipping under load.

Before using the puller, clean dirt and rust from the component being removed. Position the puller legs evenly under the edge of the component, checking that they rest securely. Tighten the locking screw to secure the legs against slipping. Turn the forcing screw gradually, checking that the pressure is applied evenly.
Wear safety goggles and work gloves during removal. Make sure the component is firmly secured and cannot move under load. For heavily corroded joints, apply penetrating fluid and wait ten to fifteen minutes before starting. Do not exceed the tool's working range.
After use, clean the puller and protect the screw threads against corrosion. Check the condition of the legs and the locking mechanism. Store the tool in a dry place, protected from moisture. Periodically lubricate the threads and pivot points with maintenance grease.
