Rechargeable Yato YT-08529 inspection light – 107 cm engine bay lighting
A 107 cm inspection light designed to illuminate the engine bay during servicing and diagnostic work. Model YT-08529 is fitted with 120 LEDs and a lithium-ion battery that delivers up to 8 hours of runtime with no need for a mains connection.
Features of the Yato YT-08529 inspection light
Adjustable beam angle ±30°
The rotating mechanism lets you direct the beam precisely into hard-to-reach areas of the engine bay. The ±30-degree adjustment range lets you change the angle of the light without repositioning the whole lamp, which speeds up work on complex repairs.
Three mounting options
The light comes with adjustable clamps, hooks and neodymium magnets. The clamps fix the lamp to the edge of the bonnet, the hooks let you hang it from body panels, and the magnets hold it securely to metal surfaces – so every mechanic can choose the mounting method that suits the vehicle in front of them.
Two LED power modes
Full power mode (120 LEDs, 750 lm) delivers maximum visibility for complex operations. Eco mode (60 LEDs, 370 lm) extends runtime to 8 hours while still providing enough light for routine servicing and visual inspection.
7.4V 1800 mAh lithium-ion battery
Li-Ion technology eliminates the memory effect and maintains a stable voltage throughout the discharge cycle. The 1800 mAh capacity delivers between 3.5 and 8 hours of runtime depending on the mode selected. A full charge takes 4.5–5 hours, so the light can be charged overnight ready for the next working day.

Use and maintenance
Charging the battery
The first charge should last a full 5 hours. Lithium-ion batteries do not need to be fully discharged before charging – they can be topped up at any time without affecting cell life. Avoid storing the light in a deeply discharged state for longer than 3 months.
Mounting in the engine bay
Before mounting, check that the mounting surfaces are clean. Adjust the clamps to the thickness of the bonnet edge, and use the magnets on flat, unpainted or painted metal surfaces. Avoid mounting the light in direct contact with hot engine components – the LED operating temperature should not exceed 50°C.
Cleaning and storage
Clean the aluminium and ABS body with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasives. Store at 5–25°C, away from heat sources and moisture. During longer periods out of use, charge the battery every 2–3 months to 50–70%.
