The KD10567 is a workshop tool designed to centre the clutch disc precisely against the pressure plate and flywheel when fitting a clutch assembly. The set includes interchangeable expanding sleeves that allow it to work with a range of spigot bearing diameters — in both cars and light commercial vehicles.
The set contains two expanding sleeves of different diameters and one adjustable sleeve. As a result, a single tool covers a wide range of vehicles without the need for a separate tool for each engine model.
Some vehicles do not have a spigot bearing in the flywheel. The supplied adjustable sleeve allows the clutch disc to be centred in these designs too — with no need to improvise makeshift solutions.
The body made of hardened steel resists deformation when the sleeve is pressed into the bearing bore. The aluminium components reduce the weight of the tool, making it easier to work in the confined space of the engine bay.
A clutch disc that is not centred correctly prevents the gearbox input shaft from sliding in freely when the gearbox is fitted. This tool eliminates the problem by taking the place of the gearbox shaft and holding the disc in line throughout tightening of the pressure plate bolts.

| Material | Hardened steel, aluminium |
| Set contents | 2 expanding sleeves for different bearing diameters, 1 adjustable sleeve for shafts without a spigot bearing |
Before fitting, measure the internal diameter of the spigot bearing in the flywheel (or the bore diameter if no bearing is fitted) and select the matching sleeve from the set. The sleeve should enter the bore with slight resistance — any play will prevent the disc from being centred correctly.
After use, clean the sleeves of any oil and gearbox grease that may have spread from the spigot bearing area. The steel components are best protected with a thin film of anti-corrosion oil before being put back in the tool box. Keep the set complete — a missing sleeve may restrict what the tool can be used for on the next repair.
