A universal hole saw with TCT carbide teeth for drilling holes in wood, metal and mineral materials. The 25 mm cutting diameter and 1/2" shank make it compatible with standard drill chucks.

TCT (Tungsten Carbide Tipped) teeth
The carbide teeth give the tool a long service life and allow it to cut hard materials. TCT is a tungsten carbide alloy that stays sharp far longer than conventional tool steels, which means fewer tooth changes during intensive use.
Versatility across materials
The hole saw's design allows drilling in wood (solid timber, plywood, boards), metals (steel, aluminium) and mineral materials such as Porotherm blocks, aerated concrete and calcium silicate. On some mineral materials it delivers better performance than diamond drills.
1/2-inch shank
The 1/2" (12.7 mm) standard is the most common shank size on impact and non-impact drills. It provides a secure fit and transmits high torque without slipping.
Compatibility with YATO pilot drills

Use and maintenance
Before you start
Before drilling, fit the pilot drill into the central hole in the hole saw. The pilot drill lets you set the drilling point accurately and keeps the tool steady during the cut. Make sure the hole saw is firmly tightened in the drill chuck.
Operating parameters
For wood, use a medium speed (800-1,200 rpm) with moderate pressure. For metal, reduce the speed (300-600 rpm) and use a coolant or lubricant. For mineral materials, use hammer mode at low speed (400-800 rpm). Excessive speed can overheat the TCT teeth and cause them to lose their hardness.
Cleaning and storage
After use, remove swarf and dust from inside the hole saw with compressed air or a brush. Protect the TCT teeth from impacts, which can chip the carbide. Store the hole saw in a dry place, protected from moisture that could corrode the steel body.
Safety at work
Wear safety glasses, work gloves and ear defenders when drilling. When working with mineral materials, an FFP2 dust mask is recommended. Secure the workpiece so it cannot move - loose material can be caught by the rotating hole saw.
