VOREL 09174 Foam Gun
The VOREL 09174 foam gun is a tool designed for the precise application of polyurethane foams in construction and renovation work. Its brass nozzle provides controlled dispensing of material while keeping the tool lightweight.
Foam gun features
Brass application nozzle
A nozzle made from brass offers high resistance to the chemical action of polyurethane foam. Brass does not corrode on contact with solvents or cleaning agents, which extends the service life of the nozzle. The material also ensures precise shaping of the foam bead.
Foam flow control
The adjustment screw provides smooth control of the expanding foam flow rate. The mechanism lets you match the application rate to the width of the gap or the type of work being carried out. Precise adjustment minimises material consumption and reduces the need to remove excess foam.
Plastic body
Using plastic for the body reduces the weight of the tool, which cuts hand fatigue during longer jobs. The material is resistant to impact damage and does not react chemically with expanding foam. Plastic also makes the tool's surfaces easier to clean.

Use and maintenance
Preparation before use
Before the first use, check that the nozzle and the adjustment mechanism are not blocked by residual material. Shake the can of expanding foam for 20-30 seconds before screwing it onto the gun's thread. For optimum foam expansion, the temperature of the can and the surrounding area should be at least +5°C.
Cleaning the gun
Once work is finished, clean the gun of residual foam using a dedicated expanding foam cleaner. Apply the cleaner by screwing the bottle of fluid onto the gun's thread and flushing the channels through. Regular cleaning prevents the foam from setting inside the mechanism and prolongs the life of the tool.
Storage
Store the gun with a foam can screwed on or with a protective cap on the thread. This stops air from entering the interior and residual material from setting. The tool should be stored horizontally or hung up in a dry room.
