Cable ties made from PA6.6 polyamide, 280 mm long and 4.8 mm wide. Pack of 100 in white, designed for bundling wires and cables and for securing components in electrical, hydraulic and mechanical installations.
Cable tie characteristics
PA6.6 UL P4V2 material
Modified polyamide 6.6 with UL certification provides mechanical and chemical resistance and stability at temperatures from -40°C to +85°C. The flame-retardant material, rated to UL94 V-2, increases safety in electrical installations.
22 kg tensile strength
Tensile strength of up to 22 kg allows cable bundles, wires and components of considerable weight to be secured safely. This parameter defines the maximum load before the tie breaks.
UV and chemical resistance
UV stabilisation allows outdoor use without the material degrading under sunlight. Resistance to grease, oils and solvents makes the ties suitable for industrial and workshop environments.
Precise ratchet mechanism
Closely spaced teeth at intervals of approx. 1.5 mm allow the tension to be adjusted precisely to the diameter of the bundle. The one-way locking mechanism prevents loosening once closed.

How to choose the right tie length
Measure the circumference of the bundle or item to be tied and add 40–50 mm of allowance for closing the mechanism. For bundles with a diameter of 80 mm (circumference approx. 251 mm), a 280 mm tie provides sufficient allowance. For smaller diameters, the excess can be cut off after fitting.
Use and maintenance
Cable ties are fitted by threading the tail through the locking head and pulling it to the required tension. Once closed, the locking mechanism prevents loosening. The excess length can be cut off with side cutters or flush cutters right next to the head.
The PA6.6 material retains its properties at temperatures from -40°C to +85°C, which makes it suitable for indoor use and for outdoor use in temperate climate zones. UV stabilisation protects against degradation from solar radiation for at least 12 months of direct exposure.
To remove a tie, it must be cut with a cutting tool – the mechanism is not designed to be reopened. In applications requiring repeated fitting, reusable ties with a release mechanism should be considered.
Markings on the tie
The manufacturer applies identification markings to the ties, including the material name (PA6.6), UL certification and the production batch code. This information confirms compliance with standards and makes identification easier in installation technical documentation.
