Welding helmet with an automatic auto-darkening filter, designed to protect the eyes and face during MIG, MAG, MMA and TIG welding. The flame-retardant polypropylene construction with an adjustable 3-point headband ensures a stable fit on the welder's head.
The filter, fitted with 2 sensors, responds to the appearance of the electric arc in 1/25000 of a second, switching from light state DIN 3 to dark state DIN 11. Automatic operation removes the need to raise the helmet manually between welds, increasing productivity.
Dials on the internal panel allow stepless adjustment of the sensor sensitivity and the filter shade. This lets you match the settings to the arc brightness, depending on the welding process and the current used.
The three-point adjustment system allows precise fitting of the helmet to the circumference and shape of the head. The soft internal padding increases comfort during long working sessions by reducing pressure points.
The shell is made from high-temperature-resistant polypropylene and protects against sparks and metal spatter. The polycarbonate filter lens withstands intensive use, maintaining lasting clarity of the viewing area.

DIN 11 (dark state) – the filter shade during welding, providing protection against intense arc light. A higher DIN number means a darker filter. DIN 11 is suitable for most welding applications at medium currents.
DIN 3 (light state) – the minimum shade, allowing visibility before welding begins and positioning of workpieces without removing the helmet.
DIN 15 (UV/IR protection) – a constant level of protection against ultraviolet and infrared radiation, active regardless of the filter state. It protects the eyes even if the auto-darkening mechanism fails.
Reaction time 1/25000 s – the time in which the sensors detect the appearance of the arc and send a signal to the filter. A shorter reaction time means better eye protection at the moment the arc is struck.
Optical class 1/1/1/2 – a rating in accordance with EN379, defining the optical quality of the filter in four categories: clarity, light diffusion, shade homogeneity and angular dependence. A value of 1 is the best, 2 is acceptable.
Before first use, fit the CR2032 battery in the filter's power compartment. The helmet uses dual power supply – the solar cell provides energy during welding, while the battery keeps it ready in low-light conditions.
Sensor sensitivity is adjusted using the dial on the inside of the helmet. When welding at low currents (e.g. TIG), increase the sensitivity so that the sensors detect the weaker arc correctly. When MMA stick welding with a strong arc, the sensitivity can be reduced.
The filter lens should be cleaned regularly with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid using solvents, which may damage the polycarbonate coating. If scratches affect visibility, the lens can be replaced with a new one.
Store the helmet in a dry place, away from heat sources exceeding 55°C. Do not leave it in direct sunlight for prolonged periods, as this may affect the service life of the solar cell.
