Vorel 82281 Webbing Sling 3T 4M
Webbing sling designed for the safe lifting and transport of loads weighing up to 3 tonnes. Made from two-ply polyester with a length of 4 metres, it complies with standard EN 1492-1 and Directive 2006/42/EC.
Webbing sling features
Two-ply webbing construction
The double layer of polyester increases strength and resistance to mechanical damage. This construction ensures that the load is distributed evenly along the full length of the sling, minimising the risk of breakage when lifting heavy items.
Reinforced loops at both ends
The loops at both ends of the sling are made with an additional layer of material, which increases resistance to abrasion where they come into contact with hooks and other items of lifting gear. This reinforcement extends the service life of the sling in intensive use.
Chemical resistance of polyester
The material is resistant to moisture, oils, mineral acids, coolants and petrol vapour. This property allows the sling to be used in industrial environments, mechanical workshops and on construction sites, where contact with chemical substances is unavoidable.

Use and maintenance
Inspection before use
The sling must be visually inspected before every use. Check that the webbing shows no cuts, fraying, splits or damage to the loops. Make sure the technical data label is legible and states the working load limit. Do not use the sling if you find any damage.
Safe lifting practice
The 3 tonne capacity applies to lifting in a straight (vertical) configuration. If the sling is used at an angle, the actual capacity is reduced. Do not exceed the maximum working load. Avoid overloads, sharp edges on the load and contact with hot surfaces above 100°C.
Storage and cleaning
Store the sling in a dry, shaded place, away from sources of heat and corrosive substances. Before storing, the webbing can be cleaned of dirt with water and a mild detergent. After washing, the sling should dry at room temperature, away from direct sunlight.
