Precision screwdriver with a Torx T5 profile, made from chrome vanadium steel. Designed for work on consumer electronics and precision mechanics, and for devices requiring access to miniature star-profile screws.
Technical characteristics
Torx T5 profile
The six-lobed star profile, 1.42 mm in diameter, distributes tightening force better than standard slotted or Phillips profiles. Torx T5 is used in the miniature screws that secure electronics enclosures, hard drives, games consoles and household appliances.
Chrome vanadium steel CrV
This steel alloy with added chromium and vanadium offers increased surface hardness and wear resistance. The chrome plating protects against corrosion, which extends the tool's service life in workshop conditions. The CrV material maintains the tip geometry even with repeated use.
Magnetised tip
Permanent magnetisation of the tip makes it easier to position small screws in hard-to-reach places and stops them falling out during assembly. This feature is particularly useful when working with electronic components, where accurate positioning is essential.
Two-component handle
The design combines a hard core with a flexible plastic coating to provide a secure grip and effective torque transfer. The ergonomic shape reduces hand fatigue during repetitive tasks. The hanging hole allows the screwdriver to be hung on a workshop board or a tool belt.

Use and maintenance
Checking compatibility
Before use, check that the screw profile matches size T5. Attempting to tighten a screw with the wrong size will damage the screw recess and make it impossible to remove. Torx T5 is not compatible with T4 or T6 profiles, or with tamper-resistant star screws with a centre pin (Torx Security).
Tool maintenance
After use, clean the tip of any dirt and dry it. Regularly checking the condition of the tip allows signs of wear to be detected before the tool loses full functionality. Storing it in a dry place prevents surface corrosion. Do not use the screwdriver as a lever or a punch.
