A professional insulated screwdriver certified for live working up to 1000V, fitted with a versatile slotted/Phillips tip and a reduced-diameter blade that allows access to hard-to-reach places in electrical installations.
The insulation meets safety standards for work on electrical installations live up to 1000V AC. The insulating layer covers the blade along its entire working length, protecting against accidental contact with conductive parts when working in distribution boards and electrical enclosures.
The reduced-diameter blade with a matching insulating layer allows work in confined spaces where standard screwdrivers will not fit between conductors or into deep mounting recesses. This makes it useful when fitting components inside tight electrical enclosures.
The reversible tip combines a slotted profile and a Phillips PH2 cross profile. The PH2 size suits M2.5–M5 screws, which are used in most domestic and industrial electrical installations. It removes the need to carry two separate screwdrivers during installation work.
After heat treatment, S2 steel reaches a hardness of 58–60 HRC, which provides resistance to wear and deformation when working with tightly torqued screws. The material retains its mechanical properties under intensive use, extending the service life of the tool without the need for replacement.

An insulated screwdriver protects against electric shock when working live up to 1000V AC, but it does not replace other items of personal protective equipment. In line with health and safety regulations for electrical work, insulating gloves and safety glasses should be worn, and power isolation procedures followed. Check the condition of the insulation before every use — cracks or damage to the insulating layer make the tool unfit for live working.
Before starting work, carry out a visual check of the insulation along the entire length of the blade. The insulating layer must not show cracks, scores or deformation. If there is any mechanical damage, the screwdriver should be taken out of service.
When working live, hold the tool only by the insulated handle, avoiding contact between your hand and metal parts. An insulated screwdriver protects against electric shock if the tip accidentally touches conductive parts, but it does not eliminate the risk of a short circuit between phases.
The reversible SL/PH2 tip requires the screwdriver to be turned through 180 degrees to change the profile. Match the tip type to the screw slot — the wrong choice will damage both the screw head and the tool tip.
After use, clean the screwdriver of contamination and store it in a dry place. Contact with solvents, oils and other chemicals can weaken the insulating properties, so use a dry or slightly damp cloth for cleaning.
