YATO YG-00462 PC Drainer Insert for GN 1/3 Containers
A polycarbonate (PC) drainer insert designed for GN 1/3 gastronorm containers. It drains moisture away from food, extending its freshness during chilled and frozen storage.
Features of the GN 1/3 Gastronorm Drainer Insert
High-strength polycarbonate (PC)
The PC material is resistant to impacts and cracking, which ensures a long service life in demanding commercial catering use. It withstands daily washing and contact with food at varying temperatures.
Keeps food separate from moisture
The perforated design allows water to drain freely to the bottom of the GN container. Food does not come into contact with the collected moisture, which prevents it from becoming soggy and losing its sensory qualities.
Wide operating temperature range
The drainer insert operates at temperatures from -40°C (cold rooms, freezers) to +99°C (storage of hot dishes). It is not suitable for direct heating in bains-marie or combi ovens.
Smooth surface that does not absorb odours
The non-porous polycarbonate structure does not absorb odours or flavours, so different products can be stored in rotation. The smooth finish makes hand washing and cleaning in commercial dishwashers easier.

Use and maintenance
Compatibility with GN containers
The YG-00462 drainer insert is compatible only with YATO GN 1/3 containers. Before purchase, check that your containers match models YG-00410, YG-00411, YG-00412 or YG-00413. Use in other containers may result in a poor fit.
Temperature limitations
Despite being resistant to temperatures up to +99°C, the drainer insert must not be placed directly on heat sources. Do not use in heated bains-marie, combi ovens or on hot plates. It is intended solely for storing products, not for heating them.
Wash in commercial dishwashers at temperatures up to 85°C, or by hand using detergents suitable for food contact. The rounded corners and smooth edges prevent dirt from collecting and make it easier to maintain HACCP standards.
