YATO YT-091691 32V S1 System Toolbox - modular tool organiser
A 38-litre toolbox from YATO's S1 system range, fitted with connectors that allow you to build a modular transport set. Made from polypropylene, with an IP66 seal that protects the contents from dust and water.
Features of the YATO YT-091691 System Toolbox
Expandable S1 modular system
The connectors in the lid allow the box to be linked with other components of the S1 and S12 systems. This lets you build a vertical transport set tailored to the job in hand – the box can be combined with organisers, tool cases and other YATO containers.
IP66 sealing against dust and moisture
An IP66 rating means complete protection against dust (first digit 6) and protection against powerful water jets (second digit 6). The flexible seal in the lid protects tools when working on building sites, in the workshop or outdoors.
Robust construction with a step function
The box withstands a static load of up to 100 kg, so it can be used as a stable work platform when working at height. The polypropylene construction makes it impact-resistant and durable enough for long-term use in demanding conditions.
Adjustable dividers for organising the interior
Two adjustable dividers, one of them a removable tote tray, let you adapt the interior to the tools being stored. The tray makes it easy to carry the most frequently used items without opening the whole box.

Use and maintenance
The YATO YT-091691 toolbox requires no special maintenance. The polypropylene body can be cleaned with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. The seal should be checked periodically for mechanical damage – its condition has a direct effect on whether the IP66 sealing performance is maintained.
When linking the box with other S1 and S12 components, make sure the connectors are properly latched. The maximum load of the whole set depends on the number of linked components and how they are arranged. When building tall transport towers, the heaviest components should be placed at the base.
The 50 kg load capacity refers to the contents of the box. The 100 kg compression strength figure relates to using the closed box as a step – do not overload it when used in this way.
