Aluminium levelling staff for height measurements, with a telescopic construction made up of five sections. The working length of 120 cm to 5 metres allows precise levelling in construction, surveying and roadworks.
The staff consists of five extending sections, allowing the length to be adjusted from 120 cm to 5 metres. The telescopic system makes it quick to adapt the measuring height to site conditions without changing equipment. When retracted, the staff takes up little space, making it easy to transport and store.
The aluminium material provides durability while keeping the overall weight of the construction low. A profile wall thickness of 0.8 mm ensures adequate rigidity during measurement, minimising flex when fully extended. Aluminium is corrosion-resistant, which extends the life of the staff when working in damp conditions.
A measuring range of up to 5 metres allows height measurements to be taken on larger building projects and in roadworks. This length is sufficient for standard applications in ground levelling, measuring differences in foundation height and checking gradients.
The supplied carry bag protects the staff from mechanical damage during transport and storage. It shields the scale surface from scratches that could affect the legibility of the graduations and the accuracy of readings. It also makes the staff easier to carry around the site.

Before use, extend the staff to the required length, checking that each section is securely locked. The staff should be set vertically on firm ground, ideally using a circular bubble level. During measurement, the operator should hold the staff perpendicular to the surface, avoiding any tilt, which would affect the accuracy of the reading from the level.
After use, clean the staff of dust and mud with a soft brush or a damp cloth. The telescopic sections should be checked periodically for smooth extension – a small amount of silicone grease can be applied if necessary. The staff should be stored in its carry bag in a dry place, avoiding prolonged exposure to direct moisture.
Check the condition of the graduations regularly – scratches or wear can make readings difficult. It is also worth checking that the staff is straight, particularly after drops or impacts. The section locking mechanisms should hold the selected length securely – loose locks can lead to measurement errors.
