YATO YT-34693 Triangular Sanding Sheets 80mm - 20-Piece Set
A set of triangular sanding sheets designed for oscillating multi-tools. The hook-and-loop backing allows for quick changes, and three grit grades cover a complete sanding cycle, from material removal through to finishing.
Features of YATO triangular sanding sheets
Triangular shape for multi-tools
The 80 mm side length matches the standard sanding pad on most multi-tools. The triangular profile lets you reach into corners and awkward spots, which round discs cannot.
Hook-and-loop attachment
The hook-and-loop backing lets you change sheets in seconds without tools. The secure grip stops the sheet slipping during use, giving a more even finish.
Three grit grades in one set
P80 (10 pcs) for removing heavier layers and levelling, P120 (5 pcs) for intermediate sanding, P240 (5 pcs) for finishing surfaces. The proportions match typical usage over a full sanding cycle.
Suitable for multiple materials

Choosing the right grit for the job
P80 (coarse) - 10 sheets
Used for removing heavier layers of material, levelling uneven surfaces and stripping old paint or rust. It leaves visible scratches and needs further sanding with finer grades. It wears out fastest, which is why there are more sheets of this grit in the set.
P120 (medium) - 5 sheets
The intermediate stage between material removal and finishing. It removes scratches left by P80 and levels the surface. Used for sanding wood before the final finish, or as the final stage on less demanding jobs.
P240 (fine) - 5 sheets
For finishing surfaces before painting or lacquering, or as the last stage of sanding. It leaves a smooth surface with minimal scratching. It is not suitable for material removal - it is used only for smoothing.
Compatibility with multi-tools
Triangular sanding sheets with an 80 mm side are standard on most oscillating multi-tools. The YATO YT-34693 set works with YATO multi-tools (models YT-82220, YT-82223, YT-82818, YT-82900) as well as machines from other manufacturers fitted with an 80 mm hook-and-loop sanding pad.
Before buying, check the size of the sanding pad on your multi-tool - the information is in the instruction manual or on the machine's packaging. The standard 80 mm dimension refers to the distance between the corners of the triangle.
Safety during use
Wear safety goggles and a dust mask when sanding, particularly when working with materials that produce fine dust (plaster, filler, MDF). Working in a ventilated area is recommended. Disconnect the multi-tool from the mains before changing the sheet.
