A precision magnifier with two magnifying lenses and an integrated LED illumination system. The YT-73845 combines a 75 mm main lens with 3x magnification and a 20 mm auxiliary lens providing 45x magnification, making it possible to inspect details at different scales.

Two-lens system with different magnifications
The 75 mm main lens provides 3x magnification while maintaining a wide field of view. The additional 20 mm lens offers 45x magnification for inspecting microscopic details. This design removes the need for two separate magnifiers.
Integrated LED illumination system
Three white LEDs provide even illumination of the area under inspection. A fourth UV LED with a wavelength of approximately 395-400 nm makes it possible to inspect the quality of solder joints and to read markings on SMD components that are invisible in visible light.
ABS plastic housing
The ABS material is resistant to impacts and scratches while remaining lightweight. The 192 x 82 x 28 mm construction, weighing 130 g (without batteries), provides a stable grip during prolonged use without tiring the hand.
Battery power
The power system, based on three AAA (R03) batteries, ensures independence from power sources. The absence of cables increases mobility and allows work on site. Batteries are not included.

The difference between 3x and 45x magnification
3x magnification with a 75 mm diameter is suitable for general inspection and for work with objects from a few millimetres upwards. 45x magnification with a 20 mm diameter is used to inspect micro-details – individual solder points, micro-print or surface structure. The smaller lens requires greater precision in setting the working distance (usually 10-15 mm).
Use and maintenance
Before first use, fit three AAA batteries in accordance with the polarity markings in the battery compartment. The LEDs are switched on with the switch on the housing. Batteries should be removed during longer periods of non-use.
The lenses should be cleaned with a soft, lint-free microfibre cloth. Specialist optical cleaning fluids may be used. Avoid abrasive materials and paper tissues, which may scratch the lens surface. Store the magnifier in a dry place, away from heat sources.
The working distance (the distance between the lens and the object being inspected) is approximately 100-150 mm for the 3x lens and approximately 10-15 mm for the 45x lens. Too great or too small a distance causes the image to blur.
