Welding helmet with an automatic true colour auto-darkening filter and optical class 1/1/1/2. Designed for TIG, MIG, MAG and MMA welding, as well as grinding work with the Grind function.
True colour technology provides natural colour reproduction when welding. It eliminates the greenish or blue tint typical of standard filters, reducing eye strain during prolonged work and enabling more precise assessment of weld quality and the colour of the heated metal.
The 1/1/1/2 certification denotes the following parameters: optical class 1 (no image distortion), light diffusion class 1 (minimal scatter), shade uniformity 1 (even darkening across the entire surface) and angular dependence 2 (stable darkening when the viewing angle changes). These parameters guarantee eye protection in line with the standards for welding work.
A 99x56 mm working area provides a wider viewing angle of the welding zone compared with standard helmets (typically 90x50 mm). The expanded view makes it easier to control the welding process, position the electrode and orient yourself in the working area without having to lift the helmet frequently.
Four sensors positioned around the filter increase arc detection reliability, particularly when welding in awkward positions or where individual sensors have a limited view. The system detects the TIG arc from as little as 5 A, which matters for precision welding work requiring low current values.

The helmet allows the shade level to be tailored individually across two ranges: 5-8 DIN for work with lower light intensity and 9-13 DIN for standard welding. Sensor sensitivity adjustment allows adaptation to different ambient lighting conditions. The time the dark state is held after welding finishes can be set between 0.1 and 1.0 seconds, which prevents the filter from lightening prematurely during intermittent welding.
Grinding mode disables the filter's automatic darkening, maintaining a constant protection level of 4 DIN. This function removes the need to take off the helmet when switching between welding and grinding, improving work efficiency and safety - the operator stays protected from spatter and dust without any risk of the filter automatic triggering unexpectedly.
Combining a solar cell with CR2450 batteries ensures continuous operation regardless of lighting conditions. The cell charges during welding and in daylight, extending battery life. The TEST button allows the filter to be checked before starting work - when pressed, the filter should darken, confirming it is ready for use.
The four-point headband with size adjustment adapts the helmet to the operator's head circumference. The tilt angle adjustment mechanism allows the filter to be set to the optimal position relative to the line of sight, which matters when welding in different working positions. The headband design distributes the weight of the helmet evenly, reducing strain on the neck muscles during many hours of work.
The polycarbonate protective lens provides an additional barrier against sparks, molten metal spatter and mechanical damage to the LCD filter. Polycarbonate offers high resistance to impact and heat, protecting the costly auto-darkening filter from premature wear. The lens can be replaced without dismantling the whole helmet.
