High-leg safety boots certified to S3 under EN ISO 20345:2011, fitted with a steel toe cap and penetration-resistant midsole. The full-grain leather construction with a PU/PU outsole provides mechanical and chemical protection in industrial conditions.
The S3 category means full mechanical protection: a steel toe cap resistant to a 200J impact and 15kN compression, a steel penetration-resistant midsole withstanding 1100N, an SRC slip-resistant outsole and energy absorption in the heel area. The standard guarantees that the requirements for higher-risk environments are met.
The steel toe cap protects the toes from falling objects weighing up to 20 kg from a height of 1 metre. The steel midsole protects the foot against penetration by sharp objects (nails, metal, glass) at forces of up to 1100N, which corresponds to a load of approximately 112 kg.
The two-layer polyurethane construction provides flexibility and grip on wet surfaces (SRC certification). The material resists oils, petrol and chemical substances, while the outsole that extends over the toe cap protects against mechanical abrasion when working on your knees.
The full-grain leather upper, reinforced with Oxford textile inserts, improves breathability in high-temperature zones. The material retains its mechanical durability while regulating moisture inside the boot during long working hours.

S3 is the third of the four basic categories of safety footwear. It includes all S1 requirements (toe cap, antistatic outsole, heel energy absorption) and S2 requirements (water resistance of the upper), and additionally requires a steel penetration-resistant midsole and a deeper tread. This category is intended for environments with a high mechanical risk and contact with moisture.
SRC is the highest level of slip protection, combining the SRA (ceramic floor with detergent) and SRB (steel floor with glycerol) tests. Footwear with this certification maintains grip on both wet industrial surfaces and in contact with oily substances.
This feature prevents the build-up of electrostatic charge, which protects against electric shock in environments with electrical equipment and prevents sparking in explosive-risk zones. The electrical resistance of the outsole falls within the range of 100 kΩ - 1000 MΩ.
Size 46 corresponds to a foot length of 29.5 cm. The insole measures 30.3 cm, which gives 8 mm of clearance for toe movement while walking. Before buying, measure the foot from heel to longest toe in a standing position, in the afternoon when the foot is naturally slightly swollen.
Lacing should be even from bottom to top, without excessive pressure across the instep. The steel toe cap requires a period of adaptation – the first 2-3 days of wear may cause discomfort around the toes, which subsides once the leather moulds to the shape of the foot.
The EVA insole needs replacing every 6-9 months with daily use, as the foam loses its cushioning properties. Full-grain leather should be cleaned with a damp cloth and treated with safety footwear conditioner every 2-3 weeks to maintain the material's flexibility and water resistance.
