A 12-inch (300 mm) chainsaw guide bar with an automatic oiling system, made from 65Mn manganese steel. Designed for chainsaws with a 3/8" chain pitch and a 0.05" drive link gauge.
The guide bar material offers increased resistance to abrasion and thermal deformation. 65Mn steel contains 0.62–0.70% carbon with added manganese, which provides hardness and mechanical strength during intensive use.
The guide bar is fitted with oil channels that distribute oil along the full length of the guide bar groove during operation. This reduces friction between the chain links and the bar, limits overheating and extends the service life of the cutting system.
The fitted roller bearing reduces resistance as the chain rotates at the nose of the guide bar. This lowers energy consumption, improves cutting smoothness and limits heating of the bar nose.
A G-type mount denotes a specific type of mounting slot into which the guide bar is fitted on the chainsaw. Before purchase, check compatibility with your chainsaw model – the mount type must match that of the original guide bar.

The guide bar is designed for chains with a 3/8" pitch and a 0.05" (1.3 mm) drive link gauge. The chain must have exactly 44 links. The recommended chain is the YATO YT-84949; other brands with identical specifications may also be used. Before fitting, verify the pitch, drive link gauge and number of links.
Before each use, check the condition of the guide bar groove and the oil holes. Blocked oil channels can lead to overheating of the guide bar and accelerated chain wear. Regular cleaning of the groove to remove contaminants – sawdust, resin and dried oil – is recommended.
The roller bearing at the nose of the guide bar requires periodic inspection. If the bearing becomes blocked or damaged, wear of the bar nose increases and cutting resistance rises. In intensive use, the condition of the bearing should be checked every few months.
When working with a chainsaw, personal protective equipment must be worn: a helmet with a face shield or safety glasses, cut-resistant gloves, steel-toe boots and protective clothing. During operation, the guide bar and chain reach high temperatures and move at high speed.
Before buying a guide bar, verify four parameters: mount type (G), guide bar length (12"), chain pitch (3/8") and drive link gauge (0.05"). All parameters must match the original guide bar used on the chainsaw. This information can be found in the chainsaw manual or on the machine's rating plate.
