An agricultural fork with a profiled metal shaft and a rubberised DY-plastic grip. Designed for working with hay, straw and bulk materials on the farm and in the garden.
The steel construction provides rigidity and resistance to bending when working with heavy materials. The profiled shaft increases rigidity while keeping the weight of the tool down, which reduces strain on the spine during prolonged work.
The DY-plastic material is resistant to weathering and mechanical damage. The rubberised layer on the grip surface increases friction between the hand and the tool, preventing the fork from slipping when working in damp conditions.
The profiling of the metal shaft and the position of the grip have been designed around the natural position of the hands during work. This minimises tension in the forearm muscles and reduces the risk of strain from repetitive movements.
The geometry and spacing of the tines are suited to working with loose materials such as hay, straw and bedding. The materials used in production provide corrosion resistance in high-humidity environments.

Before starting work, check that the grip is securely attached and that the metal shaft is intact. When working with heavy materials, distribute the load evenly across the full width of the tines. After use, clean the tool of any remaining organic material, which can accelerate corrosion.
Check the metal parts periodically for signs of corrosion. If the tool is stored in damp rooms, protect the metal surfaces with a thin layer of oil. Rubberised grips can be cleaned with a damp cloth; avoid strong solvents, which may damage the material.
