Use and Maintenance
How to Use the Brake Bleeding Spanner Set
Select the socket size that matches the bleed nipple. Fit the socket onto the head of the bleed nipple. Place the hose with the non-return valve into a container for used fluid. Open the bleed nipple and the brake fluid will be drained automatically through the non-return valve. Once the procedure is complete, tighten the bleed nipple and move on to the next wheel.
Tool Maintenance
After each use, flush the hose with clean brake fluid or isopropanol to remove any residue. Check that the non-return valve is working – it should only allow fluid to pass in one direction. Clean the sockets with a brush and store them in a dry place. Check the condition of the seals in the non-return valve regularly.
