12-point socket with a 1/2-inch drive and a socket size of 8 mm, made from CRV 50BV30 chrome vanadium steel. A tool designed for fitting and removing fasteners in workshop and industrial conditions.
The standard 12.7 mm square drive size ensures compatibility with torque wrenches, ratchets and extension bars with the same square drive size. Check that the tools are compatible before use.
A steel alloy with increased hardness and wear resistance. The addition of vanadium improves the fatigue strength of the material, which translates into a longer socket service life under repeated working loads.
Twelve points of contact with the bolt or nut head allow the socket to be positioned every 30 degrees, which makes work in confined spaces easier. This profile is well suited to standard hexagon-head bolts.
The part-polished, sandblasted surface provides better grip when working in gloves and makes the size easier to identify. The knurled ring at the base makes it easier to fit the socket onto and remove it from the drive.

The socket works with all tools that have a 1/2-inch square drive: hand ratchets, torque wrenches, extension bars, universal joints, and pneumatic and electric impact wrenches. Before using it with impact wrenches, check that the socket is marked as suitable for impact use.
Before use, check the condition of the socket for cracks, chips or deformation of the drive square. A damaged socket may damage the fastener or the drive tool.
Match the socket size exactly to the size of the bolt or nut head. Using the wrong size damages the edges of the fastener and makes it harder to remove.
After finishing work, clean the socket of dirt and oil using a brush or cloth. Store it in a dry place, preferably on an organiser or in a tool case, to avoid corrosion and mechanical damage.
Do not use the socket as a lever extension or as a hammer. Do not exceed the maximum torque specified by the manufacturer of the drive tool.
