Impact socket with a 1/2-inch drive and Torx E12 profile, designed for use with torque wrenches, ratchets and impact drivers. Manufactured from 50BV30 chrome vanadium steel in accordance with DIN 2124.
Torx socket technical characteristics
50BV30 chrome vanadium steel
The material is characterised by increased hardness and resistance to shearing. The chromium-vanadium alloy provides flexibility together with resistance to impact loads, which extends tool life under intensive use.
1/2-inch drive
A universal drive size used in professional socket sets. Compatible with torque wrenches, ratchets, impact drivers and extensions fitted with a 1/2" square drive. Compatibility with your existing tooling should be checked.
Torx E12 profile
A six-lobe star profile designed for tamper-resistant Torx screws with a centre pin. The E12 size corresponds to screws with an outside diameter of approximately 12 mm. This profile transmits torque over a larger area than standard heads, reducing the risk of damaging the screw.
DIN 2124 standard
A German standard defining the dimensional tolerances, hardness and strength of impact sockets. Compliance with DIN 2124 guarantees precise manufacture and consistent dimensions, which ensures a correct fit on screws and minimises play.

Tool compatibility
The socket works with tools fitted with a 1/2" square drive. Before purchase, check that your torque wrench, ratchet or impact driver has the correct drive size. For tools with a different drive size, an adapter is required.
Use and maintenance
Before use, check the socket for cracks and signs of wear. Fit the socket onto the tool's drive until it locks onto the retaining ball. During use, avoid exceeding the permissible torque specified by the tool manufacturer.
After use, clean the socket of contamination and dry it. It is advisable to protect the working surfaces periodically with a thin film of anti-corrosion oil. Storing in a dry place, in an organiser or case, prevents mechanical damage and corrosion.
Distinguishing Torx profiles
Torx profiles come in two variants: standard Torx (T) for solid screws and tamper-resistant Torx (E) for screws with a centre pin. The E12 socket fits only screws with a centre pin. The standard T profile does not work with tamper-resistant screws.
