A set of five double-ended Torx keys with a flexible joint mechanism, designed for use with T15-T60 star heads. Made from chrome vanadium steel with a satin finish on the tips for a precise fit in the screw.
Each key has two different Torx sizes and a flexible joint that allows work at angles of up to 220°. This gives access to screws in confined spaces where a standard straight key has no room to turn. The joint remains stable while torque is transmitted.
CrV offers increased hardness and wear resistance compared with ordinary tool steel. The addition of vanadium improves resistance to breakage, which matters when working with seized or corroded screws that require greater force.
Satin finishing of the working surface reduces slipping in the Torx recess and minimises the risk of damaging the screw profile. The matt surface gives better visual control when fitting the key onto the head, which matters in precision assembly work.
The chrome layer protects the steel against atmospheric and chemical corrosion. Chrome plating also makes it easier to clean oils and other workshop substances off the tools, extending the life of the set under heavy use.

| Profile type | Torx (star) |
The Torx system (designated by the letter T) is a six-point star profile designed to transmit torque better than standard cross-head screws. Its construction minimises cam-out, which reduces the risk of damage to the head. Torx profiles are common in the automotive and electronics industries and in furniture production. Sizes from T15 to T60 cover most workshop and home applications.
A Torx key should fit into the screw profile without play or resistance. A key that is too small will not transmit torque and will damage the profile, while one that is too large will not seat correctly in the recess. Before starting work, check the size marking on the screw head or find the right key from the set by trial fitting.
The 220° joint should be set to the position best suited to the task before tightening or loosening begins. When working with high torque, set the key as close to straight as possible to minimise the load on the joint mechanism.
After use, clean the keys of dirt and oil residue. The joint requires periodic lubrication with a light lubricant, particularly after contact with water or corrosive substances. The chrome-plated surface needs no additional protection, but prolonged contact with aggressive chemicals should be avoided.
