A deep 6-point socket in chrome vanadium steel, designed for use with 1/2" ratchets and impact wrenches. The extended design allows access to bolts and nuts seated deep in mounting recesses.
A material that combines hardness with flexibility. The vanadium content increases wear resistance, while the chrome provides corrosion protection. An alloy used in professional tools for its durability under repeated loading.
The extended length allows work on fasteners located in deep recesses, mounting holes or counterbores, where a standard socket does not reach far enough.
The six-point internal profile spreads force over a larger contact area with the bolt, minimising the risk of damage to the corners. It provides a secure grip at the tightening torques typical of a 1/2" drive.
The hardening and tempering process increases surface hardness while retaining a flexible core. This treatment extends tool life and reduces the risk of cracking under impact loading.

The socket works with 1/2" ratchets, impact wrenches, extension bars and adaptors. Before purchase, check that the 30 mm size matches the bolts or nuts you intend to work with. The 1/2" standard is the most common drive size in workshop and industrial applications.
After use in damp conditions or contact with aggressive substances, clean the socket and dry it thoroughly. The chrome finish provides basic protection, but regular cleaning extends tool life. Avoid applying torque beyond the capacity of the 1/2" drive.
