A wheel brush made from crimped brass wire, designed for cleaning and surface preparation of metals. The 6 mm shank fits most drills and angle grinders.
Technical characteristics
Crimped brass wire
Brass is softer than steel, which minimises the risk of scratching the surface being worked on. The crimped wire increases bristle flexibility and improves cleaning performance in uneven areas.
80 mm diameter
The compact size allows work in areas with limited access, such as the inside of pipes, grooves or gaps between structural components.
Universal 6 mm shank
The standard shank size fits the chucks of most drills and straight and angle grinders. Check the chuck size of your tool before purchase.
0.2 mm wire thickness

Use and maintenance
Safe working
Wear safety glasses and gloves. During use the brush may throw out small particles of metal and debris. Make sure the shank is securely clamped in the tool before switching on.
Brass brushes are recommended for materials that may be scratched by steel brushes — aluminium, brass, copper and soft alloys. Brass does not spark, which makes these brushes safer in environments where there is a risk of explosion.
The maximum rotational speed depends on the design of the brush and should match the recommendations of the tool manufacturer. Excessive speed shortens bristle life and increases wear.
Bristle wear
In use, the bristles gradually wear down and shorten. Replace the brush when the bristles have shortened to the point where cleaning becomes ineffective, or when the shank starts to overheat.
