A mounted flap wheel designed for grinding complex-shaped surfaces, recesses and cylindrical components. It is used with drills and die grinders.
Features
P60 grit – medium-grade grinding
A P60 grit corresponds to a grain size of approximately 250-260 μm. It is used for removing moderate surface irregularities, rust and old paint coatings, as well as for the initial shaping of surfaces before finishing with finer grades.
6 mm shank design
The 6 mm diameter shank fits standard drill chucks and die grinder collets. It ensures a secure hold when working at high speeds, minimising vibration.
Compact 20 × 20 mm size
The cylindrical form, measuring 20 mm in both diameter and height, allows precision work in hard-to-reach places – inside holes, in recesses and on curved surfaces where larger tools cannot reach.
Synthetic resin bond
The synthetic resin bond gives the abrasive flaps flexibility, which translates into a longer tool life and even grain wear. It is resistant to the elevated temperatures generated during grinding.

Use and maintenance
Selecting the rotational speed
The maximum speed of 38,200 rpm is a limit value – it must not be exceeded for safety reasons. For most applications, speeds in the range of 15,000 – 25,000 rpm are sufficient. Lower speeds extend the life of the wheel and reduce the risk of overheating the material.
Checking tool compatibility
Before fitting, make sure that the drill chuck or grinder accepts 6 mm shanks and that the tool reaches rotational speeds not exceeding 38,200 rpm. With angle grinders, a mandrel adapter is required.
Working safely
Safety goggles and gloves should be worn when grinding. The wheel generates dust – in enclosed spaces, dust extraction or dust masks are recommended. Avoid excessive pressure, which can lead to overheating and premature wear of the flaps.
