A shank-mounted flap wheel for finishing curved surfaces, recesses and hard-to-reach areas. Designed for use in drills and die grinders.
Technical features
P40 grit – coarse grinding
The P40 grade (grit size approx. 425 µm) is a coarse abrasive. It is used for removing rust, paint and burrs, levelling welds and for initial preparation before finishing with finer grades.
Shank-mounted design
The 6 mm shank allows quick fitting in the chuck of a drill, die grinder or air tool. It removes the need for additional adapters.
Resin bond
The synthetic resin holds the abrasive flaps securely while remaining flexible, so the wheel follows the shape being worked and lasts longer as the flaps wear down gradually.
Maximum speed
A maximum speed of 25400 rpm allows use with most hand-held power tools. Before use, check that the tool speed does not exceed this value – exceeding it may damage the wheel.

Tool compatibility
The flap wheel is compatible with corded and cordless drills, die grinders, mini grinders and air tools fitted with a 6 mm shank chuck. Before fitting, make sure the maximum tool speed does not exceed 25400 rpm.
Use and maintenance
When using the flap wheel, wear personal protective equipment: safety goggles, gloves and a dust mask. The wheel wears down gradually – flaps come away as it is used, exposing fresh layers. Do not apply excessive pressure, as this can overheat the material and shorten tool life.
Before starting work, check the condition of the wheel – damaged or torn flaps may indicate that it needs replacing. Do not use the wheel after the expiry date stated by the manufacturer (if applicable), or if there is visible mechanical damage.
