Automatic magnetic base stand with dial indicator GEKO G02625
A complete measuring set comprising a precision 0-10 mm dial indicator and a magnetic base with an adjustable arm. The tool is designed for dimensional inspection of components and for verifying their position relative to one another in mechanical assemblies.
Set features
Analogue dial indicator
A 0-10 mm range with 0.01 mm graduations gives readings to one hundredth of a millimetre. The 55 mm dial makes values easy to read even from a distance. The 8 mm mounting shank is a standard size compatible with most holders.
Magnetic base with switch
The ON/OFF button allows the magnetic force to be engaged and released instantly, so the stand does not have to be unscrewed from the surface. The magnetic mounting works on flat steel surfaces.
Adjustable cross arm
A precision adjustment system allows the indicator to be positioned as required relative to the workpiece. The adjustment allows both the height and the angle of the measuring plunger to be set.
Complete measuring set

Use and maintenance
Mounting and start-up
Place the magnetic base on a flat steel surface (e.g. a machine table or a surface plate). Press the ON switch to activate the magnet. Adjust the arm so that the measuring plunger of the indicator is perpendicular to the surface being measured. Zero the indicator by rotating the dial to the "0" position at the reference point.
Measuring conditions
Before measuring, make sure that the mounting surface of the base and the workpiece are clean and dry. Avoid measuring in locations exposed to vibration, which can distort the reading. A dial indicator reacts to temperature changes – stable thermal conditions give greater repeatability of measurement.
Maintenance
After use, switch the magnet off with the OFF button before removing the base. Clean dust and swarf from the measuring plunger with a soft cloth. Store the indicator in a dry place, protected against falls and impacts. Check the smooth movement of the plunger periodically – if you feel resistance, do not force it, but consult a service centre.
