The KD5156 is a workshop-grade vacuum cleaner built for demanding conditions — on building sites, in joinery shops, garages and manufacturing plants. It handles both dry debris (dust, shavings, rubble) and liquids, while the four-stage multicyclone filtration system removes the need for disposable bags.
Key features
Bagless 4-stage multicyclone filtration
The system consists of a honeycomb pre-filter (traps particles larger than 25 mm), a multicone filter (fine solid particles), a foam filter (reduces allergens and odours) and a cotton filter (the finest dust). Because there is no bag, suction stays consistent regardless of how full the tank is, and there are no running costs for replacement bags.
Wet and dry operation with extraction function
The vacuum switches between modes without changing any internal components. The supplied spray-suction hose enables extraction cleaning: the surface is dampened with cleaning solution and the dirt is then vacuumed up together with the liquid. Compared with conventional shampooing, this method shortens the drying time of carpets and rugs.
Power socket for power tools
The built-in socket lets you connect an angle grinder, drill or other power tool directly to the vacuum cleaner. The vacuum starts automatically when the tool is switched on — this removes the need to operate two machines at once and is standard practice at professional workstations.
Mobility on four wheels

Use and maintenance
The bagless tank should be emptied regularly — filling it beyond two-thirds of its capacity reduces suction. The multicone and foam filters can be rinsed with water; they must be completely dry before being refitted, so that moisture does not damage the motor. The cotton filter and the honeycomb pre-filter need to be replaced in line with the manufacturer's recommendations or once mechanical damage is found.
Working with liquids
After every use in wet mode, empty and dry the tank. Liquid left standing encourages unpleasant odours and can degrade the internal seals.
