Kit features
Universal compatibility
12 different adapters allow you to work on the brake calipers of most vehicle makes available on the European and global market. This removes the need to keep separate tools for each make.
Ratchet compatibility
Adapter #5 has a 3/8" drive, so a workshop ratchet can be used for precise, controlled retraction of the piston. This makes work in the confined space of the wheel arch easier.
Mounting plate

Use and maintenance
How to use
Before you start, open the brake fluid reservoir cap so that the fluid displaced by the retracting piston can flow back. Choose the adapter that matches the caliper type, fit it to the mounting plate, then position the assembly on the caliper piston. With the adapter that has a 3/8" drive, a ratchet can be used to retract the piston gradually and under control. While working, keep an eye on the brake fluid level and draw off any excess if necessary to prevent it overflowing.
Tool maintenance
After use, clean all components of any brake fluid residue and dirt. Brake fluid is hygroscopic and can cause corrosion, so thorough cleaning extends the life of the kit. Store in a dry place, ideally in the dedicated case or tool organiser.
Technical note
On vehicles fitted with an electric parking brake integrated into the rear calipers, the system may first need to be put into service mode with a diagnostic tool before the pistons can be retracted. Attempting to retract the piston mechanically without deactivating the system can damage the electric mechanism.
