Female quick-release pneumatic coupling made of brass, designed for hoses with a 9 mm internal diameter. A component of a quick-connect pneumatic system that provides a tight, durable connection without the need for tools.
Brass provides resistance to corrosion and oxidation, which extends the service life of the coupling in industrial conditions. The material retains its mechanical properties over a wide temperature range and does not react with most pneumatic media.
The receiving element of a quick-release coupling system, it works with a male plug. Once connected, it forms a tight pneumatic joint that can be quickly disconnected without losing pressure in the main installation.
The 9 mm internal diameter refers to the internal cross-section of the pneumatic hose. The coupling has a clamping sleeve or hose clip that ensures a tight fit on the hose without the need for additional seals.
Protection against contamination and mechanical damage during transport. The transparent packaging allows visual inspection of the product before fitting, which matters in systems requiring pneumatic cleanliness.

The female quick-release coupling works with male plugs of the same standard (most commonly Euro or ARO). Before buying, check the type of quick-release couplings in your installation, as different standards are not mutually compatible. The 9 mm diameter refers to the pneumatic hose – before fitting, measure the internal diameter of the hose with a calliper.
Before first use, remove the transport protection and check that the air passages are clean. To fit the hose, push it onto the coupling sleeve as far as it will go, then secure it with a hose clip or clamping screw (depending on the design).
During use, regularly check the condition of the seals and the locking mechanism. Contamination can cause leaks – periodic blowing through of the coupling with compressed air is recommended. Brass requires no additional maintenance, but in chemically aggressive environments it is worth checking the condition of the surface.
When disconnecting, pull back the release sleeve on the male plug and withdraw the plug with a straight movement – avoid twisting, which can damage the seals. The maximum working pressure depends on the quick-release coupling standard (typically 10-15 bar for standard workshop systems).
