A car first aid kit in a durable plastic case. The kit contains essential dressings that meet vehicle equipment requirements — bandages, sterile dressings, a triangular bandage, waterproof plasters and protective gloves.
The kit contains the essential supplies needed to give first aid in an emergency — from minor cuts to more serious injuries requiring immobilisation and a dressing. The kit includes bandages in two widths, sterile dressings and a triangular bandage.
The case, made from hard plastic, protects the contents against mechanical damage, moisture and dirt. A handy handle lets you take the kit quickly to the scene of an incident, and the compact dimensions allow it to be stored in the boot or under a seat.
The kit contains two conforming bandages, 5 cm and 10 cm wide, each 4 metres long. The smaller bandage is suitable for dressing wounds on the limbs, while the larger one is used to immobilise or dress larger areas of the body.
A pair of vinyl gloves provides protection against contact with blood and body fluids when giving assistance. The enclosed first aid guide covers the basic procedures to follow in an emergency and is useful for people without medical training.

Store the kit in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Boot temperatures can be high in summer, so it is worth checking the condition of the dressings every 6-12 months. The plastic case protects the contents but does not provide thermal insulation.
Check that the kit is complete on a regular basis, especially after each use. Replace used items — bandages, dressings and plasters can be bought separately from pharmacies. Pay attention to the condition of the sterile packaging: damaged packaging compromises sterility. Vinyl gloves can degrade after a few years, so it is worth replacing them as a precaution.
Rules on carrying a first aid kit in a vehicle vary from country to country. In Poland, the requirement to carry a first aid kit mainly applies to taxis and vehicles carrying children. Regardless of the regulations, having a first aid kit improves safety on the road and allows a quick response in an emergency.
