A saw chain designed for petrol and electric chainsaws. Made from Mn65 manganese steel with a semi-chisel cutter, it is intended for cutting clean and moderately soiled wood.
A material with increased tensile strength. It gives the chain a longer service life than standard carbon steels, particularly under intensive use and when cutting harder wood.
A cutter profile that delivers a high ratio of cutting speed to ease of sharpening. Suitable for clean and moderately soiled wood, it is less prone to damage than a chisel cutter.
A link design that distributes oil evenly along the entire length of the guide bar. It reduces friction and heating of the cutting system, extending the service life of both the chain and the guide bar.
A special cutter design minimises the transfer of vibration from the chain to the guide bar. It reduces operator fatigue during prolonged work and improves cutting precision.
Designed guide links reduce the risk of dangerous chainsaw kickback on contact with wood. It increases safety at work, particularly when cutting branches and working in awkward positions.
A permanent marking on the links that allows the chain's parameters (3/8" pitch, 0.05" gauge) to be identified quickly without measuring. It makes it easier to select the correct replacement chain.

Before buying, check three key guide bar parameters: length in inches (15"), chain pitch (3/8" – the distance between three consecutive rivets divided by two) and guide bar groove width (1.3 mm). These parameters must match the chainsaw's technical data. The pitch can be measured with a calliper or checked in the chainsaw manual. The guide bar groove width must match the thickness of the chain's drive link.
Before first use, soak the chain in chain oil for at least 2 hours. During use, check the chain tension regularly – a correctly tensioned chain should sit snugly against the guide bar but can be pulled away from it by 3–5 mm. A chain that is too loose may jump off the guide bar, while one that is too tight causes excessive wear and overheating.
Check the sharpness of the cutters every 2–3 hours of intensive work. A blunt chain produces fine sawdust instead of chips, requires increased pressure and causes the cutting system to overheat. Sharpen it with a 4.8 mm round file for 3/8" pitch, maintaining a sharpening angle of 30° and a depth gauge height of 0.65 mm.
After finishing work, clean the chain of sawdust and resin and check the condition of the links and cutters. Store it in a dry place, protected from moisture. Check the condition of the rivets joining the links regularly – loose rivets can cause the chain to break during use.
