A deep 6-point socket with a 1/2" drive, designed for work on deeply recessed bolts and nuts. Made from chrome vanadium steel with heat treatment for increased wear resistance.
The chromium and vanadium alloy increases hardness and wear resistance compared with ordinary tool steel. This material provides greater strength when working with high torque.
The increased length of the socket body provides access to bolts and nuts located in deep recesses, wheel rim wells and other hard-to-reach places where a standard socket cannot reach.
Hardening and tempering the steel under controlled conditions increases the hardness of the working surface while retaining a flexible core, which prevents the tool from cracking under load.
The chrome layer protects against corrosion and makes cleaning easier. The matt finish reduces light glare when working in workshop conditions.

The socket works with all torque wrenches, ratchets, extensions and universal joints with a 1/2" drive. Before use, check that the torque of the driving tool does not exceed the capacity of the socket for the given size.
Before starting work, check that the socket size matches the dimensions of the bolt or nut. The 6-point profile distributes force evenly across six points of contact, which minimises the risk of damaging the edges of the fastener.
Fit the socket fully onto the bolt or nut, avoiding working at an angle that could damage the internal profile. After use, clean the tool of dirt and protect it from moisture.
Regularly checking the condition of the internal profile allows early detection of signs of wear. Worn sockets may slip on fasteners and cause damage to them.
