The F-clamp from the PROFI range is designed for holding and clamping components during assembly, gluing and woodworking. Its construction, based on a galvanised steel bar and cast iron jaws, ensures a secure hold at a maximum opening of 500 mm.
The bar is made from galvanised steel, which provides resistance to corrosion and mechanical damage. The galvanised finish protects against rust when working in damp workshop conditions.
The jaws are cast from iron, giving high rigidity and resistance to deformation under load. The swivel pressure plate distributes the clamping force evenly across the entire surface of the workpiece.
The pads on the jaws protect the surface of the workpiece from scratches and dents. They are particularly useful when working with veneered or lacquered wood or other delicate surfaces.
A maximum jaw opening of 500 mm makes it possible to clamp medium-sized components – from structural boards to furniture panels. The 120 mm throat depth defines the distance from the edge of the workpiece to the clamping line.

A throat depth of 120 mm means that the jaws can reach a maximum of 12 cm from the edge of the workpiece. When gluing wide boards, several clamps should be used, spaced 40–60 cm apart along the joint, to ensure even pressure along the entire length.
The spindle should be lubricated periodically with lithium grease or machine oil, particularly after use in a dusty environment. The bar should be cleaned regularly to remove wood dust and glue. Check the condition of the plastic pads – damaged ones should be replaced so that they do not scratch the material.
