Type F woodworking clamp with a 120 mm jaw opening and a 300 mm bar length. A clamping tool designed for assembling wooden components, glue-ups and temporarily holding parts in place while they are worked on.
Jaws made from a special cast iron provide rigidity under clamping pressure, which eliminates distortion at higher clamping forces. The galvanised steel bar protects against corrosion in workshop conditions.
The movable pressure pad compensates for uneven material surfaces, distributing the clamping force evenly across the entire contact area. This prevents damage to the edges of wooden components.
The lacquered wooden handle with a metal ferrule combines ergonomics with durability. The wood absorbs vibration and provides a secure grip, while the metal reinforcement protects against splitting at high torque.
The 120 mm jaw opening allows components up to 12 cm thick to be clamped. The 300 mm bar length is enough to stabilise most typical woodworking joints, ensuring even distribution of pressure along the glue line.

Before starting work, check that the clamping screw turns smoothly and inspect the condition of the jaws. Worn or damaged jaws may leave marks on soft wood surfaces. The screw mechanism should be lubricated periodically with a maintenance grease.
Increase the clamping force gradually, checking the position of the components. Excessive pressure can distort parts or squeeze glue out beyond the joint line. With softwood species, protective pads should be used between the jaws and the material.
Store the clamp in a dry room, protecting the metal parts from moisture. After work, remove any glue residue from the jaws and check the condition of the zinc coating on the bar. Minor damage can be treated with an anti-corrosion product.
