GEKO G03145 Air Needle Scaler with Chisels for Rust Removal
A pneumatic tool designed for the mechanical removal of surface contamination from steel structures. A bundle of steel needles strikes the surface several thousand times per minute, effectively removing rust, paint and other coatings without damaging the substrate.

Needle technology
A bundle of 19 steel needles works in a hammering motion, reaching into surface irregularities and recesses. The needles remove contamination mechanically without generating excessive heat that could distort thin sheet metal.
Air-powered operation
Compressed air delivers consistent power regardless of how long the tool is in use. The 1/4" inlet is the standard fitting for compressed air systems and is compatible with most workshop compressors.
Compact design
The lightweight body reduces operator fatigue during prolonged work. Its ergonomic shape provides access to hard-to-reach areas such as welds, edges and recesses.
Interchangeable chisels

Use and maintenance
Compressed air requirements
The scaler must be connected to a compressor with adequate output. Check the manufacturer's instructions for the required working pressure (usually 6-7 bar) and air consumption (given in l/min). Too low a pressure will reduce performance, while an inadequate compressor output will cause interruptions in operation.
Preparation for use
Before connecting the tool, fit the appropriate attachment — the needle bundle for surface cleaning or a chisel for work requiring greater force. Use the supplied Allen key to tighten the attachment. Connect the air hose to the 1/4" inlet and make sure the connection is airtight.
Checking the condition of the needles
The steel needles wear during use — check their length and condition regularly. Worn or bent needles should be replaced, as they reduce cleaning performance and may damage the workpiece. The retaining spring stops the needles falling out during operation.
Lubricating the tool
Air tools require regular lubrication with air tool oil. Add a few drops of oil to the air inlet before each use, or fit an automatic lubricator in the compressed air line. A lack of lubrication leads to accelerated wear of the impact mechanism.
