Knee protectors with a gel insert, designed for prolonged kneeling work. The tall construction stops them slipping down during use, while the hook-and-loop fastening system ensures a snug fit without pressure behind the knee.

Tall construction
The knee pads cover a larger area of the knee than standard models. This stops them slipping down during work, doing away with the need to keep adjusting them. This is particularly important when moving around on your knees a lot.
Gel insert

Why the tall construction matters
Standard knee pads often slip down during work because they are held by a single fastening point around the knee. Tall knee pads use two fastening points (above and below the knee joint), which keeps them in position. They also remove the pressure behind the knee – a problem that occurs when the strap of standard knee pads passes across the back of the knee as you kneel.
Use and care
Before first use, check the condition of the hook-and-loop fastenings and the elasticity of the straps. Put the knee pads on with your legs straight, starting with the lower strap and then fastening the upper one – this prevents the material being stretched too much.
When you have finished work, clean the surface of dust and dirt with a dry brush or a damp cloth. Avoid immersing them in water – moisture can affect the properties of the gel insert. Store in a dry place, away from heat sources that could alter the structure of the gel.
Check the condition of the fastenings regularly – worn hook-and-loop fastenings lose their grip and need replacing. Also check that the outer plastic shows no cracks, which could lead to damage to the gel insert.
