20 mm Hexagonal Profile

Difference Between a Hexagonal and a Round Crowbar
A crowbar with a hexagonal cross-section allows a socket spanner to be used, which increases the force that can be applied. The hexagonal profile also prevents the tool from rotating when prising at an angle. Round crowbars are lighter, but rely on hand force alone, with no option of using additional tools to increase torque.
Use and Safety
Before starting work, check the crowbar for cracks, bends and signs of corrosion. The tool should be used only for its intended purpose – not as a hammer, chisel or spanner.
