Manual pull-through sharpener designed for quick sharpening of kitchen, butcher's and hunting knives. The suction mounting system provides stability during use and removes the need to hold the device with your other hand.
Tungsten carbide is one of the hardest abrasive materials (hardness 8.5–9 on the Mohs scale). It sharpens stainless steel and carbon steel knives, including the high-hardness steels used in professional knives.
The rubber suction base stabilises the sharpener on smooth surfaces (laminate, stone and glass worktops). The mount frees up both hands – one holds the knife, the other controls the angle and pressure, which improves precision and safety.
The knife blade is drawn through a slot with the sharpening inserts set at the optimum angle. The system requires no knowledge of sharpening techniques – the angle is fixed by the design of the device.
The mechanism is fully manual – it needs no power, batteries or maintenance beyond periodic cleaning. It works in any conditions, including in the field.

The working surface must be smooth, dry and degreased. Press the suction base onto the worktop, removing any air bubbles. Check that it is stable – the sharpener must not move while the knife is being drawn through.
Draw the knife through the slot in the direction indicated by the arrow on the housing. The movement should be smooth, with even pressure along the full length of the blade. For slightly blunt knives, 3–5 passes are enough; for very blunt knives, 10–15. Excessive pressure shortens the life of the inserts and may damage the blade.
After sharpening several knives, metal particles collect in the slot. Remove them with a small brush or compressed air. Do not wash the sharpener under running water – moisture can settle inside the mechanism.
The sharpener is not suitable for serrated knives (bread knives), ceramic knives or knives with a single-bevel edge (Japanese kitchen knives). It will not sharpen tools with a thick blade (axes, chisels).
