A 150 mm foam polishing pad designed for fitting to polishers and angle grinders with an M14 thread. Made from foam with a density of 28 kg/m², which provides suitable rigidity when working with polishing compounds.
Product Features
150 mm Diameter
The 150 mm size is one of the most popular standards for rotary and dual-action (DA) polishers. It allows efficient work on flat and slightly curved surfaces such as body panels, bonnets and roofs.
M14 Thread
The M14 thread is a standard used on angle grinders and many rotary polishers. Before buying, check the specification of your machine — a pad with an M14 thread does not require an additional adaptor on machines with this mounting standard.
28 kg/m² Density
Foam density determines the hardness and resilience of the pad. A value of 28 kg/m² indicates a material of moderate hardness — suitable for applying polishing compounds at the finishing stage and for removing light scratches and paintwork haze.
Black Foam Colour
In the automotive colour coding of polishing pads, black traditionally indicates a material intended for finishing. Pads in this colour are used with fine finishing compounds and waxes at the final stage of polishing.

How to check compatibility with your machine
Before fitting, make sure that the spindle of your polisher or angle grinder has an M14 thread. This information can be found in the machine's user manual or on its rating plate. A 150 mm pad requires a backing plate of a similar diameter — usually 125–145 mm — which is fitted between the machine and the pad.
Use and Maintenance
Before first use, dampen the pad with water or a pad-cleaning solution to even out its absorbency. After use, clean the pad under running water or in an ultrasonic cleaner, then dry it in a shaded place. Avoid storing it at high temperatures or in contact with solvents, which can degrade the foam structure.
