The Kraft&Dele KD1597 polishing pad is designed for finishing work on painted surfaces. Its soft structure with a density of 22 kg/m³ makes it the softest option in the range, used at the final polishing and glossing stage. The M14 thread allows it to be fitted to standard rotary and dual-action polishers.
The lowest density of the three options in the range means greater softness and flexibility. This structure minimises the risk of introducing new scratches during polishing and performs well at the final stage of paintwork treatment — smoothing out marks left by abrasive compounds and bringing up gloss.
The large working surface allows for efficient work on extensive flat areas such as body panels, bonnets and roofs. It reduces the number of passes needed to cover a given area, which shortens working time.
The M14 standard is widely used on angle polishers and polishing machines from various manufacturers. Before buying, check the spindle of your machine — most polishers on the European market are fitted with this thread.
The red colour of the pad corresponds to the lowest density (22 kg/m³) in the Kraft&Dele range. The colour system makes it easy to identify the hardness quickly while working when several options are available at once.

Density expressed in kg/m³ determines the hardness and resilience of the pad. Lower values mean a soft foam that works gently against the surface — used for finishing and glossing. Higher values mean a harder foam capable of more aggressive removal of paint defects. The KD1597 pad (22 kg/m³) is the softest in the range and is intended for the final stage. For initial correction of deeper scratches and dull patches, choose the higher-density options: KD1598 (25 kg/m³, yellow) or KD1599 (28 kg/m³, white).
